PCM has an immediate need to fill the following positions at the locations specified below.

  Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Location – Arizona

Hours – Full Time / Majority Remote Working

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Develop overall project estimate plans (including approach, scope demarcation, level of accuracy, timing, necessary resources, reviews, approvals etc.) to support the development of various project funding requirements
  • Provide different types of estimates (ROM, Preliminary, Budget, Definitive)
  • Lead the preparation of miscellaneous estimates, ensuring the consistent application of standard processes and procedures as may be determined by Intel corporate groups from time-to-time
  • Validate A/E and CM approaches to detailed estimate preparation, and review and approve such estimates as may be prepared directly by the A/E and CM
  • In conjunction with other project team members, and taking into account the status of development of engineering/design, procurement, and actual construction/installation, develop detailed assessment of necessary escalation and allowance for unforeseen for inclusion in overall project funding request
  • Assemble overall project estimates, including elements prepared by client, taking input from A/E, CM, and other third-party groups as necessary, and present in standard format for senior management review and approval
  • Work with the Project Cost Engineer to break total project estimates into WBS, cost code, design/bid package, or other appropriate mechanisms to allow detailed monitoring and forecasting of costs as the project progresses
  • Develop detailed “should-cost” estimates at various stages of the project (or validate costs developed by others), to assist in the analysis of miscellaneous proposals, tenders, change orders, claims etc.
  • Gather and provide regular feedback on actual costs and work-hour norms for construction installation, to be incorporated in the overall corporate estimating database
  • Assist as appropriate in benchmarking construction costs between different Intel project locations
  • In support of our project partners, assist in the detailed normalization and analysis of miscellaneous contractors’
    tender packages
  • Participate in miscellaneous cross-site/multi-functional task forces and initiatives as necessary

  Senior Project Controls Manager

Location – Arizona

Hours – Full Time / Onsite

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise commercial construction processes
  • Create and support buy-out plans (work packages)
  • Contract development
  • Contracts negotiations
  • Overseeing financial key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project
  • Provide financial direction and instruction to the project team
  • Ensure the construction team stays on schedule and that they have adequate resources
  • Ensure the team understand key aspects of the contract
  • Scope Management
  • Bid Evaluation
  • Risk Management
  • Contract Management

Qualifications:

  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Strong client liaison skills, project management, and team leadership skills
  • Extensive understanding of the construction industry
  • Talent for negotiation
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in consulting
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills required
  • Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Data Center, and/or Semiconductor experience preferred
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, client-focused, and a strong team player
  • Put schedule controls in place and ensure that the construction team stays on schedule with adequate resources
  • We are looking to hire a qualified “Commercial Manager” with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the industry. A summary of responsibilities includes Work Package Breakout, Scope Management, Bid Evaluation, Bid Negotiation, Contract Development, Contract Negotiation, Risk Management, and Contract Management.

 Project Controls Manager

Location – North Andover MA

Hours – Full Time / Onsite

Summary of Responsibilities:

Full-time position available working in support of a high-profile client. The role is not tied to a specific duration or project.

  • Develop an accurate forecast of the cost, size, and duration of future projects
  • Collect and analyze data on all of the factors that can affect costs, such as materials, labor, location, duration of the project, and special machinery requirements.
  • Develop financial budgets, analyze, review, and document the requirements of a project throughout its lifecycle.
  • Develop a cost summary for the entire project, which includes the costs of labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, overhead, taxes, insurance, markup, and any additional costs that may affect the project.
  • Estimate cost and schedule risk analysis, cash flow analysis, and develop historical cost data for benchmarking purposes.
  • Lead risk identification process and run monte carlo simulation to determine project contingency.
  • Input data into various programs and maintain various cost and forecasting accuracy and assist with other project management support tasks as needed.
  • Support project set up in sap working closely with property accounting and finance.
  • Bachelors in either Engineering or Business Administration with zero years of experience.
